How do we provide the best possible service to those who require support?

As helping professionals, we can easily understand the “why” of trauma-informed practice: we recognize that safety, trust, and collaboration are essential for providing compassionate care; we’ve seen how trauma changes the way people engage with the world; and we’ve helped others navigate a complex path to healing and recovery.

When it comes to trauma-informed service delivery, it is often the “how” that is a challenge.

The TEND Trauma-Informed Practice program provides the knowledge and tools to implement and evaluate trauma-informed practices within your organization.

Understand Trauma and Its Impacts

Trauma is more common than some believe, and it is likely that many of the people we work with have been affected.

Understanding the impact trauma can have on the workplace, the workforce, and the people we serve is essential to providing supportive services.
