The Roadmap to Organizational Health

What is the The TEND Roadmap Program?

The TEND Roadmap Program is an evidence-based evaluation tool that provides your organization with a clear profile of the factors contributing to burnout, secondary traumatic stress, and turnover intention in your workplace and helps improve well-being for the helping professionals in your organization.

At the end of your Roadmap you will have a complete assessment report and recommendations, customized to your work context, so you can create an environment where everyone gets the support that they need, based on a complete understanding of the working conditions, system challenges and organizational support for trauma exposure within your organization. You will also receive a customized Implementation Guide and support from your TEND Organizational Health Specialist to prioritize and plan the next steps.

Overview of the Program

1. PREPARE

The TEND Roadmap program is a collaborative, tailored approach to building a healthier workplace. First, we orient key staff and leadership to get everyone on board. Then, we help you find a team of champions within your organization to support engagement and participation.

2. ASSESS

The TEND Roadmap Survey is launched. The survey is a self-report organizational assessment tool developed by TEND. It reflects an organization’s current work environment and identifies how it may contribute to or mitigate the negative effects associated with trauma-exposed work.

3. ANALYZE

Our team of organizational health experts and research specialists create your TEND Roadmap Assessment Report and Implementation Guide.

4. ADVISE

We present your report and help prioritize next steps.

After the program:

ACTUALIZE

Implement your Roadmap to a healthier workplace with TEND’s support or on your own.

How does TEND support rollout and implementation?

The TEND team offers support throughout the entire Roadmap process. We coordinate technical aspects of the survey launch, help develop communications to increase engagement, and can assist with disseminating results throughout the organization, helping leadership anticipate and manage points of friction. The program includes built-in time with your TEND Organizational Health Specialist to prioritize recommendations and guidance on actionable steps once the Roadmap program is completed.
